We partnered with Hope Heals to tell the story of an anniversary…fifteen years after Katherine’s life-changing stroke. What came out of her story was not only a story of resilience, but one of the kind of impactful community that can be built around shared experience.
For Katherine, her stroke marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with unexpected challenges alongside opportunities to redefine what a full life can look like. This film is an attempt to explore and experience the community that has been born out of her refusal to settle. Through the stories of several families we see the importance of community and connection as the antidote to feeling isolated and alone.

A church. A community of people committed to helping children discover their future. Our challenge was finding a way to communicate the full spirit of French Camp in a single story.
