Mississippi Baptist Children's Village challenged us with a new challenge: instead of fundraising, they wanted to raise people. The goal was to inspire individuals to consider becoming house parents, one of the most difficult (but rewarding!) roles in their organization.

Alabama Baptist Children's Home | Open Door
The Alabama Baptist Children’s Home approached us with an interesting question: how can we inspire people to take on the hardest job in the world? When we asked, “What makes it so hard?” The answer we received was about the emotional toll it can take on a family. This piece was born out of a desire to meet that challenge head on and not shy away from the realities of foster care.

Breakneck Games is on the eve of a major new release, an augmented reality horror concept made for the Apple Vision Pro headset. Michael, a hard working developer at the company, is reaching a breaking point.

French Camp Academy faces a challenge shared by many long-standing nonprofits: they do so much that it is almost impossible to explain everything they are. A school. A children's home. A town. A church. A community of people committed to helping children discover their future. Our challenge was finding a way to communicate the full spirit of French Camp in a single story.

Alpha Metallurgical Services
Alpha Metallurgical Resources, a Tennessee-based met coal company, came to us to create a piece highlighting their significant operations across the Southeast. What followed were shoots spanning several states, cities, and elevations.

Mississippi Baptist Children’s Village | “Continuum of Care”
Mississippi Baptist Children's Home provides a wide range of services for children and families, but communicating the breadth of that work in a simple, memorable way was the challenge. We developed a concept centered around the metaphor of a house, with each room representing a different program or service. Together, those rooms illustrated how every part of the organization works together to create a comprehensive Continuum of Care.

Unless U Got Talent 2026 was a new endeavor between old friends. We’ve worked with Unless U for years, creating over a dozen films together along the way.
The Prescott House | Walls
The Prescott House faced a unique storytelling challenge. Because of the sensitive nature of their work, they could not feature or interview those whose lives had been transformed through their program. Instead, we developed a narrative short film that communicated the organization's mission through story rather than a testimonial.

Samford University | “Doors”
Each year, Samford University welcomes a new class of students beginning their college journey. We help that transition by creating a piece that introduced campus life without leaving behind the excitement and possibility of what comes next.

The Relics
We wanted to make a car commercial even though no one was asking, so we got our film friends together and made one for ourselves. The story evolved into one about legacy and how cars, when tied to an emotional experience with the ones we love, can transport us back in time…or bring someone back from beyond.

Children's Hospital | Worth Fighting For
Every day, Children’s Hospital provides life-saving care to children and families across Alabama. For this film, we partnered with Children’s Hospital to create an emotional portrait of the people who are impacted by those passionate about the mission.
City Hardwoods | Process Stories
We partnered with the local artisans at City Hardwoods to produce a video explaining the concept behind their business and their passion for making great things. Follow the process of making a custom table while hearing about the history of the maker, John Graves.

Aretha's Gold
In the summer of 2020, we explored how to safely pull together a crew in the midst of a pandemic to make something special. Resurrecting an old song from Wild Sweet Orange, we wrote a short film to accompany one of our favorite songs.

Alabama Power | “Utility Tree Trimming Program”
We partnered with Alabama Power to tell the stories of individuals finding a second chance through their Utility Tree Trimming Program. Through the subjects’ personal reflections, we highlighted how skill development and opportunity come together to create a path to a better future.

This passion project/spec ad explores the determination and disciple needed to bring a boxer back to his peak. This short film is an opportunity for our filmmakers to explore certain techniques and storylines from a place of passion that leads to our commercial work and its improvement.

Cleveland Cavaliers | Be the Fight
This is a crazy irrational love story between the Cavaliers and its fans. For the past fifty years, and for the next fifty, it must be made clear what we are fighting for.

Connie Maxwell | For the Dreams of Children
This six-part videos series was created to not only capture stories from Connie Maxwell’s past, but to weave a narrative of faith and resilience across centuries. The series started with a simple, but powerful vision: to tell the stories of how Connie Maxwell has been caring for the dreams of children.

To celebrate 40 years of Signarama, we were asked to simply, “tell the story.” The challenge was finding the most meaningful story within an industry where the product itself can often be overlooked, so we leaned into that with a curiosity about how some people could be so passionate about signage.

This short film explores the origin story of the Baptist Children’s Village of Mississippi. Through the sacrificial gift of a single dollar bill, we witness the beginning of 125 years of serving the children of Mississippi. We were honored to be trusted with telling this story.

In partnership with 160over90, we helped bring Rider University's "Free to Roam" campaign to life through storytelling that celebrates curiosity and the freedom students have to discover who they are in college.

Hope Is Alive
Part of Shades Mountain’s response to the Covid-19 Pandemic included a virtual Christmas program, offered as a gift to the state of Alabama by broadcasting “Hope is Alive,” throughout the state. This hour-long television program included special musical guests, interview content, and multiple music video setups.

Amerex Training
We partnered with Amerex to produce a series of training videos that reimagined what instructional content could look like. Rather than creating standard training materials, we developed cinematic educational films that make essential safety information both engaging and easy to understand.

We worked with the Center for Worship & the Arts at Samford University to create a narrative promotional film for their Animate Conference. We developed an impactful story of calling to speak directly to the target audience of their now-virtual conference in 2021.

For its Orientation, Samford was looking for a way to make a big impact on incoming freshmen. This video was the first thing incoming students experienced before starting their first year at Samford.

Samford University | “Are You Here?”
“You Are Here” …it’s a statement we’ve all seen on maps and mall kiosks. But, as a question, it becomes something else entirely. Our concept for Samford University was to take that familiar statement and flip its meaning on its head. We used the imagery we all know of navigational pins to imagine the possibilities that Samford holds in store for a students who attend the university.

T-Mobile Little League
In the summer of 2021, 160over90 flew the Cedar team across the country capturing stories of how a grant provided by T-Mobile provided an opportunity for kids to chase their dreams. These are the stories that allowed some great kids an opportunity to play little league when they wouldn’t have been able to afford it otherwise.

The Arcadian Wild | “Welcome Live” Performance Series
We partnered with The Arcadian Wild to create a series of live performance films celebrating their album “Welcome.” Each song presented an opportunity to explore a unique visual approach that matched the emotion and energy of their music.

The Foundry
The Foundry works with individuals all across Birmingham to bring healing and restoration to broken lives. They approached us for our narrative approach - they wanted to tell a story about the goals of their organization rather than film and interview.

The Prescott House | "Doors"
The Prescott House was presented with a marketing challenge. They wanted to tell the story of what they’re doing in Birmingham, without the ability to interview any of their clients, due to the sensitive nature of their work. We collaborated with them to produce a narrative short film to succinctly illustrate the good work they’re doing.

Dawson Christmas | “Empty Nest”
We partnered with Dawson Memorial Baptist Church to create narrative films that played as part of their annual Christmas experience. Rather than relying solely on a traditional live performance, we helped expand the storytelling by weaving cinematic narrative films into the service itself.

The Prescott House | Somebody
To promote their work with uplifting children who have lived through trauma, The Prescott House approached us to help them showcase a family doing things right. We collaborated with the Prescott House to shoot this capsule film in one day and produce a succinct story piece to showcase the good work they’re doing in our city.

The Reveal
This short film explores the pull of expectations on the relationship between a young couple awaiting the birth of their first child. Produced completely in one weekend, this was also an experiment with short time frames and a skeleton crew.

Madeline Edwards
We partnered with artist Madeline Edwards to create the visual story for her song “Port City.” Through the lens of an up-and-coming artist chasing a dream, the film explores the ambition and resilience required to pursue a creative life.

Thrive | Time
Thrive wanted to rethink the typical nonprofit fundraising video. They wanted to talk about the work they do, but they wanted it to be fun!
